I was commissioned to photograph the all of the presenters for the student radio station at the University of Nottingham, the multi-award winning URN.
This involved several shoots over a couple of months to try and photo the many, many people involved with URN. Post production was part of the job and took place in Lightroom and Photoshop. This included editing, retouching and manipulating the images. Some of the photos were stylised into black and white portraits for the edgier late night shows.
The images produced are used all over the website - on the timetable, the show listings, the presenter's individual pages and in icons on the front page indicating who is currently on air and what show is on next.
It was a good experience, as many presenters already had a rough idea of what they wanted and I could help them achieve that. A nice example of this when a presenting duo wanted something a bit different, a photo montage was showing one presenter surrounded by "clones" of the other half of the pair.
